01 bayliner capri 18.5ft open bow. 4.3 gm vortex inboard outboard. Monster tower. Fourchannel amp infinity speakers all around. X7 sub seperate amp. Alpine head unit.

i am trading something worth 12000 for it so i want to make sure its worth that. just an estimate please.
As for insurance value it may be worth $12k, but as for market value, that would be over priced. According to the NADA value, the average retail price is more in the $8k range with a low value of only $6k. All of the other stuff does not add value, only desirability and use to the boat. People confuse value with desirability and think adding a super stereo adds value when it does not. The market value on a plain stereo and a $2500 stereo still only adds $50 to the boats’ value. The tower is another example too. The tower may add about $100, but in some cases may also DEVALUE a boat too. Look at the link below as my proof.
