Pioneer Bdp-120
my japanese pioneer BDP-120 plays only the teasers from the blu-ray discs i bought from the US…?
…but it doesn’t play the main feature…do i have to upgrade the BDP? if so, how? i don’t have problems with blu-ray discs bought in japan, i mean the US and japan share both regions….A!
thanks robert w. yes, my japanese DBP-120 is a region A player…i’ve bought blu-ray discs before in the US and they all worked just fine in my DBP-120…but not the latest BDs from the states…what’s the catch?
Look on the back of the player and it will tell you the region. Maybe you have a different region than you think.
Region A should play for you so it could be a software or firmware issue. Go to Pioneers web site and see if there are any downloads to fix your problem
