Pioneer Club Car
i have a two channel SONY amplifier in my car with a pioneer C woofer. Now i am planning to add 1 more…?
.. two channel Alpine amplifier with it.
Q1.) can they be clubbed & work for 1 woofer?
Q2.) I heard that pioneer C is not so powerful to hold 2 two channel amplifiers?
Trying to strap two amps that are not matching is not possible.
If you are talking about wiring one amp to each voice coil, that’s not a good idea either. The variances in current would cause uneven heat, warping the voice coil former and eventually causing the sub to fail. DVC subs are made to be wired to one channel. Running two channels or 2 amplifiers will eventually cause voice coil failure.
