Pioneer Deck Deh-p3000ib
Any suggestions on pioneer car deck memory problems?
Okay so i bought a 97 civic ex a few days ago with a stereo that didnt work. I went and bought a pioneer deck the deh-p3000ib and hooked it up. It only works when the yellow 12v memory wire and red 12v ignition wire are connected together but it doesnt have memory. my girlfriends dad and i tore out the whole dash and found that the memory wire didnt have constant power. fixed that then the deck would flash on then off. got new deck. same problem with only working when the red and yellow wires are hooked together and no memory. any suggestions???
Run a dedicated wire (fused of course) from the battery (or fuse panel) to the yellow wire.
