Ball Valves and Diaphragm Valves by MGA Controls
As pioneer in plastics and injection moulding technology ASV Stbbe have been producing valves and pumps for pipework construction for over 40 years. They are a successful company covering markets in China, Spain and France and with partnerships with companies in South Africa, Italy and Romania.
ASV Stbbe develop, produce and market valves, pumps, measurement and control systems. Their modern machinery and qualified engineers guarantee a consistent high quality. In 1961 ASV Stbbe manufactured the first moulded ball valve that was fully made of plastic.
ASV Stbbe produce valves that are suitable for use with aggressive media. Their range features ball valves, diaphragm valves, diaphragm gate valves, butterfly valves, pressure control valves and solenoid valves.
ASV Valves are applicable in environmental, chemical and surface technology wherever aggressive, corrosive and water endangering substances are handled according to the highest industry safety standards. In response to the specific product requirements of their end users ASV Stbbe use corrosion resistant metals and PVC-U, PVC-C, PP, PP-n, PE, PVDF, PTFE. The sealing materials used by ASV Stbbe varies dependant on medium and stress.
Ball Valves from ASV Stbbe Ball valves produced by ASV Stbbe offer a wide range of process solutions in the following fields industrial and chemical applications, Water treatment applications, Specific applications e.g. electroplanting and supply engineering such as PE ball valves for gas, water and waste water supply technology. Their ball valves are extremely cost effective.

Diaphragm Valves from Diaphragm valves are used for fluids containing a high proportion of solid particles. ASV Stbbe produce a range of diaphragm valves to fit many applications needs. They are suitable for neutral and aggressive liquids or gaseous media with abrasive particles provided that the components getting in contact with the medium are resistant at operating temperature according to the ASV resistance guide.
Features and Benefits of Diaphragm Valves These Diaphragm Valves act as Control valves with excellent control characteristics for neutral, aggressive or gaseous liquids Insensitive to highly contaminated fluids
- Come with visual position indicators
- They can be equipped with actuators
- Compact designs with high flow efficiency
- All control functions are possible by adding or removing the respective springs
- Come as standards with lift limit and manual emergency control
- Excellent control throughout the entire closing and opening path of the valve
- Removable handwheel
- Optimal pig valve
Applications of Diaphragm Valves
- Chemical plants
- Water treatment
- Electroplating
Utilisation of Diaphragm Valves As shut off valves as well as controlling in process plants
Pressure Release Valve The launch of the DHV 715-SL / DHV 716-SL Pressure Release Valve offers protection from corrosion through optimised design as it is an almost screwless pressure relief valve making it more resistant in an aggressive environment. The plastic pressure relief valve DHC-SL is made without corrosion prone fastening screws and with a spring dome attached to the bottom section using an internal thread.
Features and Benefits of the Pressure Release Valve
- Maximum nominal pressure is PN10 and can be variably set
- Automatically controls pressure in a system in accordance with the selected presetting
- Constant operating or primary pressure
- Works as an overflow valve and protects the dosing pump as well as the entire system by reducing any over pressure resulting from rising pressure by a controlled regulation
- Can be equipped with a pressure gauge if required
- Comes in four sizes from DN10 to DN 25
- Has a shaped diaphragm and piston connected to each other to form a sensitivity reacting unit
- Plastic valves available with spigot or sockets screw connection if required
Applications Pressure Release Valve
- Chemical plant manufacture
- Water treatment
- Electroplating plants,
- Suitable for technically clean, neutral and aggressive fluids
