Pioneer Dvr 109 Driver Xp
I need to boot from my cd! Please tell me how =( !?
We reinstalled windows on our sony vaio desktop ( 2 years old ) and I stopped vaio from install ing all of their software, which also made our computer have no drivers for anything. Now it won’t let me reinstall windows (media centre xp sp2) by booting from the cd. It worked before I lost all the drivers. I’ve gone into the BIOS (It took me a wile because they don’t tell you which button to press) and changed it to only boot from the PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-109 but it didn’t work; it said that I needed to restart and change the BIOS or insert media. Please help me! It’s a Sony, so they’ve taken over the whole computer. I tried getting a driver for the DVD drive, but you need a special one for the vaio. I can’t even get internet on it! ( I used my laptop ) All I want to do is reinstall windows on it so vaio can install all the correct drivers from the cd! Please respond with big long helpful answers or Ideas! I’m 15 and my whole family is mad at me! HELP!
check to see if the computer is under warranty, if it is the best thing to do is to call tech support they can wall you true the setup process,
if the computer is not under warranty them, make sure you have the original windows(system restore) disk, make sure that the boot up options on the BIOS is set on CD first, just put the CD on the drive and power up, the restore screen will come up, if it doesn’t check that the restore disc is not scratch, and that the CD drive is working,
it an be a problem with the CD, the CD drive, or the cable connecting the CD drive to the mother board on the inside, you can download a diagnostic tool on a floppy disc on another computer and then run a system hardware scan on you’re desktop to isolate the problem, there is a company called eurosoft that use to have a diagnostic tool (you need to boot up the computer from the floppy)
