DVD drive doesn’t show up in Nero Burning Rom?
My USB Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-111D just all of a sudden won’t show up in the drive list, DVD Decrypter does the same thing. It reads the blank disc…
It sounds like your drive may have died.
Test it on another computer.
Re boot your computer and test it again on your computer.
If it doesn’t work on either, it’s likely to have gone wrong. If it does work on the other computer then I’d suspect the USB driver on your computer. Some ‘updated’ drivers (mobile phone software is good for this) break all other USB access.
