Pioneer Elite Vsx-33 Prices

what’s the difference between the tsi300 and tsi200 speakers (Polk audio)?

besides the size is there any other difference with this two speakers?? as far as i know both are equipped with two 5.25-inch diameter bi-laminate organic fiber cone woofers and 1-inch silk/polymer composite Dynamic Balance dome tweeter. the price difference on amazon for one par of each is about 12 dollars. is the tsi 300 better just because it is larger??? which one would you recommend me to use as a surround speaker?? I’m going to use it for gaming with a ps3, for movies and for music. i have the tsi 500 (front), cs20 (center), psw505 (sub-woofer) and I’m still looking for a receiver that has enough power for this guys. these are the receivers that i have in mind:
onkyo TX-NR708, TX-NR609 or maybe TX-NR808
PIONEER ELITE VSX-33
Denon AVR-2311CI, or maybe AVR-3311CI what you guys think?? which one would you recommend for this particular set up and why???? thanks

The difference is tsi300 will be better for low frequencies, because of the size of the cabinet the lower frequencies will come in more solid, and generally this means more bass. As far as rears I recommend simple bookshelves, towers would be a little excessive for rears. Tsi200′s are still exceptionally “bassy” when it comes to bookshelves. I used to sell home theater and I have demo’d these speakers millions of times. You have an awesome setup BTW. As far as receivers you can always use the Bi-Amp ability to provide your fronts with the proper power to really give those fronts some power. Onkyo 708 is good, Onkyo 808 is Best. The Tsi500′s are up to 275 watts at 8 ohm to perform at their fullest, why not shoot for a receiver that will let you hear your speakers at max potential, I mean you want to hear your money’s worth. I recommend the 808. I’m also running a Polk Setup, Full LSi series 5.1 with an Onkyo 807. Can’t go wrong with polk audio man!
