I got an automatic 1997 honda civic ex?
ok i purchased the cr for 1700. clean title, and came with sound system and rims.what should i add first?
so far ive got mostly cosmetic stuff.
the paint is all flat black. i have 17″ katana rims, new front lights, and tinted dark back ones. i have a d16y8 vtec. i was thinking of adding cold air intake, exhaust system, high flow fuel pump, and turbo in the near future, as well as other parts. with 1000 to start whats the first thing i should get? btw sound system is also good.. 2 amps, 2 12″ pioneer woofers’ and 6 6″ JVC speakers.
Please please do not mess with the fuel system, the stock fuel system is more than capable of delivering enough fuel for the vehicle. You shouldn’t be concerned with any of the fuel system until you actually have a Turbocharger.
I’d start with the 3 basic bolt-ons: Headers, Intake (Cold or Short-ram), and Exhaust System (full system not just a muffler). Look into the A’Pexi WS2 Exhaust System, GReddy Evo2 Exhaust, or the Greddy Spectrum Elite exhaust systems.
As to where you wanna go from there, that’s up to you. Personally I would choose to do a Automatic to Manual conversion, a stick shift is the only way your gonna be able to unleash that cars true potential.
