Home theater speakers cutting out when watching starchoice loud?
The sound cuts out when playing loud, but only when i am watching satelite(starchoice). When I watch a dvd or listen to a cd i works fine. I’ve changed all the wires, the satelite reciever, my pioneer receiver, and my tv(replaced with all new equipment. It seems as thought when my sub pounds is when it cuts out(it cuts out to the bass) anybody have any ideas!! Im baffled
Sounds like your sub is killing the amp or amps in your receiver. If its a semi old receiver, you may have to bite the bullet and get a new one. If not, make sure your sub is on mono. Are you running speakerwire to the sub and then to the speakers? this is another problem if you are. Running it in a series like that is not the answer. It’s best to have a single sub cable, looks like an audio cable going from sub to receiver.
