Pioneer Impp 450
Subwoofer Question?

If somone could please just send me a link to an amp that will work for both subs I would appreciate it. Sorry im a noob to car stereo, I am more of an engine guy.
any amp that doesnt exceed the rms rating of the sub will work. so if your impp’s are a 250 watt rms then 2x 250= 500 so a 500 watt amp will do fine, however beware of cheap amps, jensen, sony, boss, audiobahn and the like.
they may state 500 watts but they can rarely push that much
power is generally defined by fuse size, but is also affected by impedance of the load(ohms) and wire size. Say a jensen amp has a 25 watt fuse, and a kicker amp has 40 watt fuse
multiply fuse size by voltage, typical voltage from a running engine produces around 14 volts, so 14×25=350 and 14×40=560, so the jensen might only ever push 350 watts while the kicker will likely push the 560 watts, and always remember, under powering a sub is usually worse than overpowering
