Jehovah’s Witnesses: what is the funniest story you remember reading published by the Watchtower Corporation?
It could be out of the magazines, or the yearbook, or anything else for that matter.
My favorite is the article that described Rutherford’s sense of humor (how he liked to joke around) and that two Bethel sisters thought it was inappropriate to smile (laugh) too much. Or, something like that. I’ll have to look it up again.
My 2nd favorite is the Awake article that described a regular pioneer who was addicted to soap operas. She would watch them from 9 AM until 3 PM. My car group laughed about that and we wondered, “how did she ever get her time in?”
One time the Jehovah witness came to my house. I asked them in and then I asked if they wanted a glass of water. They said Yes so I went to get it, when I returned I ask “OK what do you want to talk about?” and they said “We don’t know we never made it this far before”
