subs kinda get hot and an odd smell comes out the port. and need help setting amp?

I have 2 pioneer spl champion series pro (1000 watts rms) (3000 max) powered by a lanzar 2600d amp the subs are bridged into a 1 ohm load 2000 watts mono is that ok? i realized the subs were starting to get hot and i can smell an odd smell can anyone help me? and i had the rca wires from the head unit into the amps output instead of the input could that be the cause of the problem? and on the amp it doesn’t say “gain” instead it says imput is that the same?
well i have a subsonic filter and its between 15-40 what should i set it on? and i am using a ported box and what should i set the input on?
yea i bought that amp cause it was cheap and yess i no your subs is not good without a good amp it was cheap and i was lacking money at the time. by the way i got a 2 gauge wire

That smell is either a dead animal, or burning voice coils from using a crap amplifier. Yes yes, its true, your subs are on their way out from a lack of knowledge and probably a shady salesman that said this lanzar is is like a billion watts and its what you need top compete. And a lack of money. Anyways, you got the 8 gauge kit, didnt you? Ha ha well, lets continue. I always say, let the salesguy put it in the Out hole to you if you dont know what youre doing. Oh geez still going sorry, for real though. Input sensitivity is an adjustment on the amplifier with which you match the signal level coming out of the deck to the amplifier. For example, if your radio has a 2 volt pre-out level, then you would set the input sensitivity to 2 volts on your amplifier. it is a gain, the exact and same. Good luck buddy!
