Pioneer Touch Screen Deck
I need to no if a 5 farad cap will solve my problem. My subs seem to loose some loudness when i play it loud.?
I have a kenwood 1800 watt 1000 watts rms 1 channel mono amp powering 2 4 ohm kicker comp cvr 12s.I have a 600 watt kenwood amp for my highs and mids. I have a $2000 Pioneer touch screen deck. and A 1 farad cap. My wire is 4 Gage for ground and power. Now what happens is the bass starts of sounding amazing loud and perfect then it seems like it looses half its power comes in and out. I think it might be its not getting enough amps to the amp. So will this 5 farad power acustick cap fix my problem. your subs are loosing loudness when its loud because they are starting to clip.. which is caused from over-powering your subs, so they are going bad everytime you play it loud and eventually they will blow and be useless.. your putting too many watts to those subs
make sure your gain on your amp is set correctly and your bass boost is set NO MORE than +2, bass boost is actually bad for subs
