Pioneer Tv Plasma Malaysia
I live in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and have a 50 inch Pioneer Plasma TV I want to improve the ASTRO satelitte?
picture and have been told to buy a DVDO video processor which will convert my analogue signal into a digital one even though the picture will not be Hi Definition it will be a great improvement but it costs 10,000 ringgits !!!! Is it worth it will it really give me a picture that is worth this cost. Advise please

Theres no point to “invest” more to improves astro reception.astro is of no better quality than regular tv broadcast.astro can shouts and advertise all about its “digital” and “satellite” broadcast.But they never mentioned about video QUALITY.The only thing “digital” about astro is the audio.It is as good as “NICAM”.Just perfect for Dolby pro-logic.But short of reaching THX/SDDS/DTS.
You might be tempted to buy a “2xscanning or line doubler/interlace” but such device is already incorporated inside your plasma.Please refer to the instruction manual to activate it.
