2006 Kia Sedona radio?
I have a 2006 Kia Sedona minivan with a factory CD player. I am wanting to get a aftermarket CD/MP3/DVD/GPS system. I have found several systems on cruthfield, but the reviews are mixed. I don’t really care for the Pioneer systems. I do like some of the Clarions, but I am not sure about any others. I am looking for a good quality unit around $600. I really don’t care if it has a DVD player, but most of the GPS units also include the DVD players. I am planning on adding the DVD system later on when my 5 month old starts watching tv. I was thinking about just having the rear dvd entertainment system when that happens. Also, I do not want to have to put a CD in to use the GPS. Any help of suggestions?

If you are not going to buy aftermarket speakers, there is no real need to drop $600. If you are keeping to factory speakers and want decent quality, just get one of those asian ones on ebay. They are about $250 bucks, sound decent – installed one into my buddies ’99 corolla with infinity speakers – and it still works after 3 years! Even if it breaks after a few years, buy a new one, still be cheaper than getting a $600 one. Most of them will have a video out so you can hook up another tv in a head rest at a future date. These ones use a 2 gb sd cad for gps and compatible with pretty much all forms of gps software.
Make sure you get a unit that is dual zone audio so you can listen to music and the gps will talk over the music.
