There is a trouble with connecting TEAC Television to work?

My Television doesn’t work it’s not even showing any thing on the screen. (Tv power is working though)
It was connected to the wall for connection, but still nothing appears.
Got stuck on what to do. I tried everything to check the whether remote is the problem but it doesn’t seem so.
TEAC TV model is ct-m5150h.
Is it something to do with the TV itself? or do I need an antenna or something to make it work?

You need a signal to have the television work. The signal can come from an antenna, cable system, or satellite system. You do need an antenna if you want to watch local off-the-air programming. There is a rumor that you don’t need an antenna with digtial TV but that’s not true. An antenna is even more important for digital than it was for analog. Once you have an antenna for local signals you’ll need to check the signal strength to see what channels you’re receiving. There should be a signal strength feature in the set-up mode on your TV. Move the antenna around until all the signals are about the same strength. Then do a scan for digital channels. If you still don’t get any picture make sure you have TV selected on the input and not one of the aux video inputs.
