Teac Cd 224e Driver Xp
Does win xp use drivers for IDE cd rom drives?
Trying to upgrade my laptop from ME to XP home and having trouble with the TEAC CD-224e cd rom drive. Contacted Teac and they told me that there is no drivers necessary since Win 95 for IDE drives. Windows can’t install it without errors.
No drivers are necessary…
Just check that the SOURCE CD you are installing from is NOT scratched…
If the CD used ofr installation is a duplicate – not the original CD by Microsoft, then double check that its a good copy of WindowsXP CD (not a copy of a copy of a copy, etc)…
