Teac Drivers
Im having some problems with my laptop CD drive.?
A few days ago I tried watching a DVD and it wouldnt even read the drive. I unstalled it and reinsalled it and nothing has changed.
It’s giving me an error
“Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)”
I tried locating the drivers for it and I cant find it anywhere. Maybe there is someone else out there who can help me a little on this.
Device type is DVD/CD-ROM
its a TEAC CDRWDVD DW224EV

I did that already. And it still is giving me a that error message
Acer Laptops are good at this!!!!
My suggestion would be to note the make and model of your machine and then go to Google.
Type in ‘ DVD drive on Make and model of machine does not work’ and see what you get. With Acer the was a correction in the registry that fixed it.
You will certainly get some answers – and I would follow them through.
