i got a HD ready teac 81 cm LCD television and im trying to set up my xbox 360 to high def?
when i put the orange, green and blue cables in and set the able at the back opf the xbox to HD it comes out in a kinda green colour on the screen and there is no sound. can someone please help me to tell whihc cables go where
Firstly there isshould be no orange cable, do you not mean red?
These cables only carry video signal, and are described as ‘component’(Y, Pr, Pb) cables. You will need an extra two cables (redright, whiteleft) to carry the sound (audio) signal.
Is not your X-box ‘HDMI’ equipped?
As you have a ‘HD Ready’ TV (All that really means is it has a HDMI socket) Just plug a HDMI lead from xbox to television, that lead carries audio as well as the video signal.
