Teac Player
My record player is broken! It seems to be stuck at like 38 RPM. I can take it apart how do I fix it?
It is a TEAC turntable. Modern-ish, a few years old probably. Nothing crazy or fancy going on with it. I play records constantly and wonder if maybe the belt wore out or something, but I’m not sure how I’d be able to tell.
If you know how to fix these or can tell me what inside the record players controls the speeds, that would rule. Thanks!
it would probably cost more in repairs than it’s worth. take it to a stereo shop where they repair them and ask them if it’s worth fixing.
