laptop dvd/cd rom replacement question.?
i bought a refurbished dell Latitude C840 off Ebay. I am looking to replace the older DVD rom that is in the unit now with a new CD/RW Dvd Drive. This other ebay seller selling the new drive suggests I make sure that it is compatible.
does anyone know if a Dell Latitude C840 Laptop will accept a:
new drive :
TEAC DVD-ROM&CD-R/RW DRIVE FOR LAPTOPS

PART#: 1977098C
seems dell wants to charge for customer service requests, pretty sure someone here knows the answer.
