Yamaha Rvx 2600
whats better denon AVR-3805 or yamaha rvx 2600?
hdmi not all that important. I can pick up the denon 3805 for 699.00 brand new
I would strongly suggest you invest that kind of money into the new Denon AVR-2807 rather than the AVR-3805.
The Denon AVR-2807 is one of the only very rare receivers that can handle pure raw HD content material of 1080p with its 2 HDMI interface inputs.
You actually mean the Yamaha RX-V2600. The specs only can handle up to 720p. Even though you will be ready for either HD-DVD or Bluray with the Demon AVR-2807, I would rather “future proof” my investment and opt for the Denon AVR-2807. I have the Denon AVR-2807 and I’m very pleased with its performance: sound quality and video quality.
You owe it to yourself to carefully review specs. and weigh the pros and cons. The Yamaha RX-V2600 is a very good receiver, but in my opinion, the Denon AVR-2807 will blow it away.
If you can get the Yamaha for $799.00, I would strongly spend a couple more for the Denon AVR-2807.
